The Field Table is defined by restraint. A broad, uninterrupted top meets solid legs with subtle shaping and crisp joinery, creating a table that feels grounded, architectural, and timeless.

Every line serves a purpose. There are no applied details, no ornament for ornament’s sake — only proportion, material, and craftsmanship working together. The result is a table that feels equally at home in a traditional dining room or a modern architectural space.

Built one at a time, the Field Table is designed to be lived with for decades, not seasons.

Design Details

  • Thick solid-wood top with softened edges for a comfortable, tactile feel

  • Clean apron profile that visually lightens the mass of the top

  • Subtly shaped legs that add character without visual noise

  • Traditional joinery designed for long-term structural stability

Every dimension has been tuned to feel balanced from all angles — seated, standing, and in motion.

Materials & Craftsmanship

The Field Table is crafted from carefully selected solid hardwoods, chosen for grain consistency, stability, and aging characteristics. Boards are milled, matched, and assembled for visual calm rather than dramatic contrast.

Each table is:

  • Built from solid wood (no veneers or shortcuts)

  • Sanded and finished by hand

  • Finished with a durable, low-sheen finish that highlights the natural grain

The finish is designed to patina gracefully over time rather than look “factory new” forever.

Customization

The Field Table can be customized to suit your space:

  • Size and proportions

  • Wood species

  • Finish tone

  • Edge profile

  • Dining or counter height

If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, we’re happy to build to your specifications.
